Following a fire throughout the Club Motivation Leisure area of the hotel IAC were employed to rebuild the mechanical infrastructure working in conjunction with the main contractor.
The fire destroyed the pool area, gymnasium and aerobics studio as well as spreading to the adjacent roof area which housed the ventilation systems for the administration and office areas below.
IAC designed and built a solution to replace the systems using updated technology and incorporating the original individual systems into one Heat Recovery Air Handling unit complete with heating and cooling.
A new controls system was installed to give greater control over the areas with a user friendly Trend IQ interface.
A Recotherm swimming pool fresh air system was installed to maintain pool air temperature and humidity control along with numerous DX heat pump systems to allow for temperature control to the Gym, Studios and changing areas.
